Quintos Sallay, the Napa teen who suffered a major head injury two months ago when he fell from a tree, returned to his Napa home Thursday.Sallay, 15, still faces another surgery to replace part of his skull, but his recovery has been dramatic. He’s talking, reading, walking and even playing some basketball, said his brother, Anthony Black.
“It’s an absolute miracle. He’s the same old kid,” said Black.On Feb. 25, Sallay was climbing a redwood tree near a friend’s house on Clay Street when he fell 25 to 30 feet to the ground. He suffered a severe head injury, fractured spine, broken shoulder blade, broken ribs and other injuries.
