It is a strange kind of system that holds no accountability, and yet, in nearly every facet of our operating systems (except education where we are accounting students and teachers to death), there seems to be no interest in holding people accountable for what they are paid to do.
We have seen repeatedly what people are capable of when they have “carte blanche” so to speak, and can just get their paycheck for breathing or appearing at their jobs, and yet, we make no real efforts to change or address the glaringly and appallingly inefficiency and sometimes disastrous results of this method.
I wonder why our only focus is on teachers.
